Our Females

Pick a pup

We have an exceptional breeding available from 4X GMPR Jesse and MPR Lilly. These should be exceptional pups from two high powered titled performers that have both produce excellent dogs. Contact us for more info.

Our goal at PRG is produce a better dog, not just more puppies in the world. We have spent many years carefully selecting and training what we consider some of the best proven bloodlines in the country. An excellent pedigree is a great place to start but that is only part of the picture. We prove our dogs in the field hunting and at hunt tests. Unlike many kennels out there, we walk the talk. They have the ribbons and titles to back up the abilities we say they have. Consistent with our goal of producing a better dog, we keep puppies from every litter we have and train them. We know what we and clients can expect from our dogs. Our standards are very high. Everyone benefits from those standards. The breed, our clients and our kennel.

Our goal in breeding our dogs is to pass on the traits of intelligence, drive, marking abilities, trainability, birdiness, pointing and great companionship. They are superb hunting dogs and have excellent track records at hunt tests, run in competitive shoots and are great companion dogs. You will see our dogs performing at the highest levels all over the country both in the field hunting and at hunt tests.

There is a noticeable difference in our puppies. Anyone can make that claim. Dont just take our word for it, talk to some of the owners of our pups and come and see for yourself.

We know it is your hard earned money your paying for a dog. We realize some people have been saving for years to get a pup or started dog. You dont have to settle for decent dogs with OK pedigrees. Know what to look for and dont settle for less than excellent pedigrees, proven performers and dogs the have the credentials ( ribbons and titles ) and a price that is fair.

As far as the 49 day being the golden number to bring home a pup we don't agree. Here is a link to an article about it. http://www.calibertollers.com/49daymyth.htm . Colorado law says pups must be 8 weeks old before they can go home. Experience has shown that the older pups get the more you will be able to tell about their personality and traits. They get plenty of attention with socializing with people and just as important learning how to be dogs around other dogs.

We are looking at potentially two exceptional breeding's in 2010 out of our females Sally and Lexi. Both of these dogs have outstanding pedigrees. Call for more information.

Occasionally, if we don't have pups to offer, we can direct you to litters from people that breed to our stud dogs. On some occasions we will refer to another breeder if they are producing pups that we would own ourselves. That tends to be an exception as opposed to a rule. As we mentioned before we have high standards. Contact us if you have any questions about upcoming litters.
