It brings me a lot of joy being able to capture those special moments with my dogs when we are out in the field. Memories of a life time that have a lot of meaning to me. Most of these paintings are actual hunting scenes from the field. Every one of them is an orignal. I custom make all of the frames as well.

I am offering orignal artwork to those that want to capture memories of their dogs for a lifetime. It could be that once in a lifetime hunt you went on with your dog. It could be that day you and your dog picked up the last ribbon for a title. It could be that place you and your dog just take a walk to in the evenings. It might be of one of your buds that is no longer with you. I can help give you a moment to reflect on those good times when you feel a need to go back there.

I use the best paints and linen available today. The quality is archival which means the painting will look the same for the next 500 years. You cant accurately capture the colors and texture with a photo. A camera cannot capture all the values ( lights and darks of colors ) your eye can. That is why looking at a photo of the Grand Canyon and standing on the edge of the Grand Canyon is so different. There really is no comparison. The colors in my work are vivid and full of life. These paintings vibrate. In fact a painting should always look better than a photo if an artist does his job.
